Shirt to Bag

I found this really cute shirt at Hollister on sale. It never really fit (it seems to be a habit of mine to buy things that don't fit) but I LOVED the graphic on the front.

I cut a little of the bottom of the shirt (and that became the waistband of the t-shirt pants) and sewed that shut. I used the same orange scraps that I used on the pants to make the strap. I just tied them together with knots and then tied them to the shirt through the collar and sleeve. Very little sewing involved. Probably wasn't the best plan for the shirt since it is insanely thin and stretchy, but at least it sees daylight every once in a while now.
