Yeah, so I decided to make an entire livejournal dedicated to my recons/stencils and other random crafts. I'll probably go longgg periods without posting anything..damn school. Anyhooo, each project will get its own entry, so there will be alot of entries on days I do alot. And on to the projects...

I made this a longgg time ago. There were instructions on hottopic.com on how to make a shirt off the shoulder, so I tried it. I cut the collar off, and up the sleeves, then cut the collar into strips to tie bows at the collar and sleeve. I ended up cutting too much off the collar, so I put safety pins along one shoulder to hold it up better.

I made this for the first day of college, its my first stencil. I used plain white paper, elmers adhesive to hold it down and scribbles fabric paint for the stencil. Credit to Stencilry for the amazing Judd stencil.

I took my favorite quote from the movie ("Does Barry Manilow know that you raid his wardrobe?") and printed it out from word. Cut it out and stenciled it onto the shirt along with the Judd stencil. I didn't know how to deal with islands at the time, so that's why the letters are the way they are.

MTV Shirt

Right after my best friend and I turned 16, we took a trip down to NYC and went to a taping of TRL. I had to buy something from the MTV store to commemorate the occasion, so I got this really horrible cut, wayy too small blue TRL tank top and a hat. The shirt just kind of hung in my closet since it looked horrible on me, until I found this tutorial to turn a tee shirt into an off the shoulder (I can't remember where it was, or I would link it).

I cut the collar off the white tee and the blue MTV tank. I cut the blue collar in half and tied the sleeve and collar together. I then cut out all the graphics from the MTV shirt and hand sewed them on.

With my addiction to bags/purses, I needed to make a jeans to bag.

I had an old pair of jeans I was going to add side panels to so they would fit again, but they had huge rips in the knees, and that was impossible. So I cut the legs off a little below the zipper and just sewed across. I cut strips from the legs and made them into a (really long) strap. It looked plain to I added Bon Jovi and Nightmare Before Christmas pins, Godsmack and Pink Floyd patches. I also half stenciled, half free-handed the Kill Hannah sniper heart on the bottom. On the back pocket, I also wrote out lyrics to Bon Jovi songs.

I had reading to do for my english class 1st semester, but instead I made this shirt. Credit to Stencilry for the Hellogoodbye stencil.

My mom bought me this plain blue shirt for me to stencil so one day, instead of reading for class, I found the stencil and put it on the shirt. The shirt also had a really tight collar, so I just cut it off and made it into a scoop neck. My first stencil with islands, so I was damn proud of myself.

My friend and I went to see Fall Out Boy on the Black Clouds and Underdogs Tour. She loved Joe, so I made her a shirt. Again, credit to Stencilry for the stencil.

I cut out the stencil and put it on a plain pink shirt I had. I later cut slashes up the sides of the shirt.

Awhile ago, everyone on craftster was making gaucho/yoga pants out of t-shirts, so I thought I'd give it a try. I used this tutorial.

I used one of my dad's old plain white t-shirts since this was my first time really cutting anything up and I didn't want to ruin a shirt. I added orange side panels from some scraps I had to make them fit. Then I used some brown fabric which was the bottom I cut off a shirt to make it fit around the waist. They came out okay but I can't really wear them since they are insanely see through. I'm waiting for the perfect shirt before I attempt them again.

I found this really cute shirt at Hollister on sale. It never really fit (it seems to be a habit of mine to buy things that don't fit) but I LOVED the graphic on the front.

I cut a little of the bottom of the shirt (and that became the waistband of the t-shirt pants) and sewed that shut. I used the same orange scraps that I used on the pants to make the strap. I just tied them together with knots and then tied them to the shirt through the collar and sleeve. Very little sewing involved. Probably wasn't the best plan for the shirt since it is insanely thin and stretchy, but at least it sees daylight every once in a while now.

Gotta love when grandparents give you stuff.

My grandma gave me this incredibly boring pair of white sneakers. They were insanely padded so I never really wore them. One day I got bored and broke out the paint (I'm still not sure how well its going to stay on, so I refuse to wear them out if they're going to get wet). I cut out the tongue of the shoes since they were massive. Then painted them green and yellow following the divisions on the original shoe. I painted one shoelace in green and yellow, but left the other one white (I like to be different XD)

At my college orientation, they were giving out these shirts. I got one because my birthday was in August. Its a Commuter Appreciation shirt, with a "You know you're a commuter when..." list on the back. I loved it but the cut was off; too short, too tight on the bottom, and too loose on top. It hung in my closet for the longest time because I was too scared to mess it up.

I cut the sleeves off, then cut across the top to make it a tube top. I sewed up the sides to make it fit a little better on the top. I cut the straps from the sleeves, then sewed them on.
