Awesome-sauce Wallet

I saw the posted tutorial to make a full-size wallet. I decided that it would make a good Christmas present for a few people. I figured I should make one for myself as a trial run to make sure I can actually make one.

I found the awesome 'lollipop' fabric in the fat quarter section, and the lime green came from my grandma's stash (and I had the exact same shade of thread. WOOT!). The green lining wasn't interfaced because it made the fabric wrinkle and shrink up...hence the wrinkles. My first time doing a zipper, which just about gave me a panic attack, but it came out amazing. I made the closure a little longer since I tend to over-stuff my wallet. The snaps are a little loose since I accidently got the heavy duty snaps that require, like, 6 layers of fabric....oops! The top stitching came out pretty good considering I was sewing through 8+ layers at times, and hand cranking the wheel every 5 seconds...haha.
Over all, I really love it. It holds everything I need (checkbook, cards, money, change), and its much cuter than anything I find at the store. Next time, I'll probably just use velcro as the closer, the snaps were a pain in the butt to put in since, apparently, I lack any arm strength to pound them on.
