Buttercup Bag

I stumbled upon the Buttercup Bag, and decided I needed to try it.

I made it out of this amazing flowery/paisley fabric, and lined it in some light pink from my grandma's stash.
Here's a closeup of the outer fabric since I'm in LOVE with it:



Let's make a list all the things I did on the bag that I've never done before...
-doing a lining
-pleats
-pockets
-top stitching
-using a pattern
Whew!!

I love this bag. Its a bit small for everyday use for me, but it'll be good for going to a concert or something. I'm pretty sure all the women in my family, and all my friends are going to be getting these bags for Christmas, heh.
