Magazine Clutch Part 2
Oct. 30th, 2009 04:52 pmI made some more magazine clutches today. I'm really becoming obsessed. I went through all my magazines and tore out all the pages that would look decent as a clutch....I need help.
Anyhoo, this time around, I decided to line them with a sturdier paper, almost like cardstock, that I use for scrapbooking. It makes such a difference! It makes the clutch much for sturdy, and it keeps it shape much better. I also took another stab at using velcro as a closure. Went much better than last time, and I really like it.
**The colors, IRL, are closer to the first picture. I had to take the closeups without flash, and the colors ended up weird.
Both, together

This one was made out of an ad Fuse TV. I thought the entire ad was too amazing to just be in a magazine. I'll definitely be using this at some point. I used a dark grey paper to line this one.

My favorite one so far. I love how everything lined up just perfectly on the outside, especially the mouth. I used a light grey paper for the lining. I'll probably use this when I go to the midnight showing of New Moon, and scare all the kiddies with vampires that don't sparkle, have fangs, and kill people...haha.
