Panel Apron, part III

I got another one of those panel aprons with the intention of making it for one of my friend's birthday. However, I didn't get it finished (or even started, really) because of class. But luck was on my side and I ended up picking this friend for our Secret Santa, so now she'll get her awesome apron.

My friend is an awesome cupcake decorator, so I chose the apron that was covered in cupcakes. I also tried a new way to sew the ties because when I do it the way the instructions say, I spend 3497946 hours trying to turn them right side out again. Instead, I folded each side in about 1/4 in, folded the whole thing in half, and sewed up the side/top. Looking back, I probably should have topstitched the other side as well to make it look neater, but oh well.

I'm also giving her a bunch of cupcake/frosting recipes, and a couple boxes of Hello Kitty jellybeans to make up for the lack of birthday gift.
