Wallet 4.0
I used the same pattern as before, with the same modification to the zipper. It's so much easier to put together this way. I used a
blue abstract patterned cotton for the main fabric, and navy blue cotton for the lining.
I got another one of those panel aprons with the intention of making it for one of my friend's birthday. However, I didn't get it finished (or even started, really) because of class. But luck was on my side and I ended up picking this friend for our Secret Santa, so now she'll get her awesome apron.
I found the tutorial for this on Craftster. (Pictures taken with my spiffy new camera!!!)
I picked up another fat quarter of that awesome candy swirl fabric. I made this to match the wallet I had made. I used the same green from my grandma's stash to line it. I made some minor changes to the tutorial. I didn't follow the steps to make my zipper all pretty, I just wanted to get the bag done. I also interfaced the outer fabric. If I do this again, I'll probably interface both the outer and the lining as its still a little flimsy.
