Boston Pillow

First Christmas present is finished, WHOO!!

(please excuse my dying chair cushion, I haven't had time to redo it...)

I found this fleece in the remnant pile at JoAnn's. My cousin LOVES Boston, so I thought I'd make him something out of it. I was originally going to make a throw, but when I opened it up, it was a long, thin length of fabric, so I folded it in half and made a pillow. It is the softest, cushiest thing I've ever seen. I would totally keep it, if I was a die hard Boston fan...

Baseball Wallet

Another Christmas present is done!

I made this for one of my cousins. I used the same pattern as I used for the wallet I made before. He's really into baseball, LOVES playing, and is a huge fan of the Mets. I used some baseball fabric I had, and some red as the coordinating fabric. The bottom card pocket didn't line up, for some reason, without the fabric gaping, so one side is a little off, but its not that bad. I stuck an iTunes card in the wallet, too, so he'd get something fun with his present.

Puppy Throw

I'm on a roll! If I keep this up, I should be done by next week, WHOO!!!

I found this fleece in the remnant pile. I made it for my cousin's dog, Diamond. I call her Princess Di, and every princess needs a special warm blanket, lol. I didn't really do much. I cut off the waste around the edges, folded the edges under about an inch, then sewed a zig zag stitch very close to the edge. I'm going to make another throw just like this one for my grandma in a different fabric, its a quick and easy gift.
